Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does my campsite need hookups?
    You can be completely off grid! You have three options depending on the van you choose. All of the vans are equipped with solar panels, some are hooked up to the alternator to charge while you drive and others have a generator to give flexibility for your trip.
  • How long will the battery last without charging it?
    This depends on the amount of usage and how much sun the solar panels are being exposed to.
  • Do I need special toilet paper?
    Nope! The dry flush toilet is easy to use and dispose of afterwards.
  • Can I tow something behind the camper?
    It is not recommend, but we allow certain things to be towed. Please reach out for specific cases.
  • Are kitchen supplies included?
    Yes! Cooking supplies include pots, pans, plates, bowls and utensils.
  • Are linens included?
    A fresh set of linens are included in every rental. Every bed comes with two pillows, sheets and a comforter. We can provide extra during the colder seasons.
  • Is there a generator?
    Depends on the unit! We supply everything you need to be off grid.
  • Can my vehicle charge the camper battery?
    Our Mercedes vans will charge the battery while you drive.
  • What happens if something goes wrong / breaks down?
    There is 24/7 road side assistance and you will have our number to reach us at any time.
  • Do you have any location restrictions?
    Our vehicles may not be taken to Burningman.
  • What is an accident happens or a repair is needed?
    Please notify us of any damages as soon as possible. We will work with you and the insurance policy to remedy any accidents that occur.
  • Do you have any add-ons?
    Yes! Ski Racks: $40 Bike Racks: $75 Snow Shows: $20 Toilet (Dryflush): $40 Starlink (Rigley Van Only): Included
  • Do you deliver / pickup?
    Yes, within 60 minutes of Lindon, Utah!
  • How long will it take to pick up / check-out the rental?
    The walk through takes less than twenty minutes and we have videos to help you get familiar with the rig before you take it.
  • How are campers picked up?
    You can pick up your campervan at 1pm. It will need to be returned by 11am to our Lindon location unless you have arranged drop off and pick up with us directly.
  • Do you do airport pickup?
    Yes, send us the times you land and we can work out details for van pickup and drop off!
  • Are there mile limits / charges?
    There is a 150 mile per day limit. Each additional mile is 50 cents per mile.
  • What are the rules for returning the vehicle?
    The tank needs to be returned full Charges will be applied for the time to refill and the cost to refill Trash needs to be taken out Fridge cleared out and wiped down, turned off Counter top/Shower wiped down Sheets striped and placed on the bed Dishes cleaned Personal items removed
  • Is there a minimum booking timeline?
    No! Overnight trip are welcome!
  • Do I need to pay a deposit?
    Yes, deposits range from $500 - $1,000.
  • Do I need insurance?
    Yes, insurance will be added onto your trip.
  • What is your smoking policy?
    No smoking.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    You are responsible for 25% of the booking total if cancelled up to 7 days before pickup then 50% for remaining days.
  • What is your pet policy?
    The Transit fleet is pet friendly!
